Mae ITI Cymru Wales yn cynrychioli cyfieithwyr a chyfieithwyr ar y pryd proffesiynol ledled Cymru, gan drefnu digwyddiadau proffesiynol, o weithdai a seminarau gan arweinwyr y diwydiant i ddigwyddiadau cymdeithasol a rhwydweithio lleol.

Mae aelodau ITI Cymru Wales yn gweithio mewn amrywiaeth o gyfuniadau o ieithoedd ac yn arbenigo mewn ystod eang o feysydd megis marchnata, technegol, cyfreithiol a thwristiaeth, gan ddiwallu anghenion cwmnïau, sefydliadau, awdurdodau ac unigolion yng Nghymru ac yn rhyngwladol.

Sefydlwyd ITI Cymru Wales yn 2012 gan Trinidad Clares MITI ac 
Elvana Moore MITI.

About us​

ITI Cymru Wales represents translation and interpreting professionals across Wales, organising professional events, from workshops and seminars by industry leaders to local social and networking events.

Members of ITI Cymru Wales work in a variety of language combinations and specialise in an array of fields such as marketing, technical, legal, and tourism, serving the linguistic needs of companies, organisations, authorities and individuals in Wales and internationally.

ITI Cymru Wales was founded in 2012 by Trinidad Clares MITI and Elvana Moore MITI. 

Today, the association is run by ​Lloyd Bingham MITI (Coordinator), Chloé Pellegrin MITI (Deputy Coordinator and Secretary), Victoria Porter-Burns MITI (Treasurer) and Courtney Keeling Greenlaw (Events).

Ynghylch ITI

Rydym yn gysylltiedig â’r Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), prif gymdeithas y DU ar gyfer cyfieithwyr a chyfieithwyr ar y pryd proffesiynol. Mae’r sefydliad yn ymroddedig i gynnal y safonau rhagoriaeth uchaf wrth ddarparu gwasanaethau ieithyddol i’r byd busnes a diwydiant.

Dim ond cyfieithwyr a chyfieithwyr ar y pryd sydd wedi gwneud arholiadau’r Sefydliad neu sy’n gallu dangos lefel uchel o gymhwysedd a enillir drwy brofiad y gellir eu derbyn fel aelodau. Maent hefyd wedi’u rhwymo gan God Ymddygiad Proffesiynol llym. Penodir cyfieithwyr a chyfieithwyr ar y pryd sydd wedi cyflawni’r statws hwn gan y llythrennau ôl-enwol 'MITI' neu 'FITI'.

Nid yw ITI yn gwmni cyfieithu a chyfieithu ar y pryd, nac yn goleg neu brifysgol dysgu chwaith.
About ITI

We are affiliated with the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), the UK’s premier association for practising translation and interpreting professionals. The Institute is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of excellence in the provision of language services to business and industry. 

Only translators and interpreters who have taken the Institute's examinations or are able to demonstrate a high level of competence acquired through experience may be admitted as members. They are also bound by a strict Code of Professional Conduct. Translators and interpreters who have achieved this status are designated by the post-nominal letters 'MITI' or 'FITI'.

ITI is not a translation and interpreting company, nor is it a teaching college or university.
